We take an ecosystems approach to services our goal is to prevent, intervene and educate below is a summary of some of our volunteer opportunities. We look forward to working with you!

Prevention:

Awesome Activist Leadership Camp: The camp is a fun way for teens (rising 6th grade to 12th grade) to become community-engaged leaders making a difference in their community through targeted leadership training and service learning projects. Planning for Summer 2018 is underway… Camp begins June 18, 2018
Black Leadership Academy: The Black Leadership Academy is a weekend enrichment program (September-May)designed for 3rd-12th graders to provide a broader and more inclusive understanding of American history, increase positive racial identity and academic achievement.

Intervention:

Excellence Project: The Excellence Project provides services to youth and their families involved in the school discipline and criminal justice systems. We provide a wide range of individualized services: educational support, criminal justice/court advocacy and support, individual and family counseling, etc

Administration:

The Excellence and Advancement Foundation is looking for volunteers with a variety of experiences (accounting, public relations, marketing, technology, curriculum writing, research, graphic design etc) to support a growing non-profit

EAF requires all volunteers to complete a background check to inquire on individual's criminal history record information from any law enforcement or criminal justice agency on applications for employees, or volunteers.
